1. Doha Corniche
The Corniche is undisputedly the most attractive part of Doha, lined with iridescent skyscrapers with breathtaking green surroundings and remarkable modern architecture. The Corniche is a coastal boulevard lined with palm trees and a horseshoe-shaped roadway 7 kilometers long. Corniche, one of the most popular destinations with tourists, locals, bikers and runners. The embankment changed Doha's coastline in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
During the day, you can admire the incredible colors of Doha Bay; In the evening you can enjoy the beautiful view of the beautiful sunset; and at night to see the magnificent colors of the city lights reflected from the calm water.

2. Barzan Towers
The recently renovated towers, located in the suburb of Doha in the village of Umm Salal Mohammed, were built between 1910 and 1916. Barzan means "high place", and the towers may have served as an observation post to protect local water sources and an observatory for determining the dates of the lunar calendar. The buildings were restored in 2003, the towers are 16 meters high.

3. Islamic Cultural Center
The Islamic Cultural Center - also known as FANAR, is a spiral mosque, one of the most famous landmarks in Doha. This is not a traditional Qatari mosque, but a replica of the Al-Mutawakila Great Mosque in Samarra, Iraq. It is a great introduction to Islam through interesting exhibitions, and among other things, you can get Arabic lessons there.

4. The Museum of Islamic Arts
Created by the world renowned architect, IM Pei (the architect of the Louvre pyramid), the Museum of Islamic Art is one of the main cultural attractions in Doha. It has the largest collection of Islamic art in the world, gathered from three continents over a period of 1400 years. Located in MIA Park on Doha's waterfront, it stands out for its architectural style. The interior is equally impressive as the geometric patterns of the Islamic world adorn the entire interior of the museum. This place is a must-see for any tourist.

5. The Pearl-Qatar
Artificially dumped islands covering 400 hectares of reclaimed land. This is one of the premier urban development projects in Doha. There are five-star hotels, luxury boutiques, luxury apartments and a marina here. Only on these scattered islands can foreigners buy land in Qatar.
The name comes from the place where the island was dumped, in these places divers used to get pearls from the depths of the sea.

6. Souq Waqif
Souq Waqif is just a short walk from the Corniche. Well known as the social heart of Doha, Souq Waqif is a great place to shop, explore local customs, eat, or just free time at one of the attractive local cafes. Souk was founded at least a century ago in the vicinity of the dry river known as Wadi Musheirb. It is a gathering place where Bedouins and locals traded in a variety of goods first of all, animal products .
The modern Souq Waqif is known for selling traditional clothing, spices, crafts and souvenirs. There are also dozens of restaurants here. In 2006, it was renovated to maintain its traditional Qatari architectural style. It is often perceived as the only area in Doha that retains a genuine sense of antiquity, especially with regard to commerce, architecture and culture. The area is very popular with locals and expats.

7. Aspire Park
Aspire Park is one of the largest parks in the Gulf region and is one of the best landscapes in Qatar. It presents a great contrast to the typical Qatar desert landscapes you will see around Doha.

8. Katara Cultural Village
The Cultural Village of Qatar is located on the east coast between the West Bay and the artificial island, The Pearl. The decision to build a cultural village was born out of a vision to position the State of Qatar as a cultural beacon of art, radiating out in the Middle East, where theater, music, literature and exhibitions are located.
The Cultural Village has an outdoor amphitheater , opera house, cinema, multi-purpose conference room, beach and bitches . A museum showcasing the country's maritime heritage was opened within the village in November 2015.
