Walker Bay is a large bay located in the southwestern Western Cape of South Africa. This is the next major bay between False Bay near Cape Town and Cape Agulhas to the southeast. The bay is renowned for some of the best land-based whale watching spots in the world, which is why the city on its shores, Hermanus, is famous. Right whales visit the bay in winter and spring.

Gansbaai on the coast of the bay is also famous for diving with a great white shark.
The coast adjacent to the bay is protected as part of the Walker Bay Conservation Area, and the bay itself is a protected marine area in which most water sports and fishing activities are prohibited.
