Lake Bunyonyi is located near the Rwandan border in southwestern Uganda, about a three-hour drive from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It is located 1,962 m above sea level, about 25 km long and 7 km wide, and although it has not yet been proven, the depth of the lake is said to be 44 m. If that's true, it will be the second deepest lake in Africa.
