Andros (Greek Άνδρος ) is the northernmost and second largest island of the Cyclades - one of the most beautiful in the Archipelago. The landscape of Andros - a necklace of mountain ranges with steep slopes and canyons between them, dry riverbeds, green valleys dotted with olive, fig, orange and lemon groves, vineyards and irrigated by stormy streams - is very different from what we find on the rest of the Cyclades islands.
