Fairy Falls, Columbia River Gorge (with Map & Photos)

Right up the road from Multnomah Falls, you'll find Wahkeena Falls. Wahkeena Falls is another popular and easy waterfall hike in the Columbia River Gorge, and the best part is, it's a 2-for-1 if you also hike to Fairy Falls. Unlike Multnomah Falls, where the full length of the waterfall can be seen from the parking lot, Wahkeena Falls is best viewed from different vantage points along the trail.

If you're short on time, you can hike to the stone arch bridge which is less than 0.5 miles from the parking lot and offers one of the best views of the falls, otherwise I would recommend doing the three mile hike to Fairy Falls and back for the full experience. For an even longer hike, you can tackle one of the most popular waterfall hikes near Portland, the 8-mile Wahkeena-Multnomah Loop.

It's a full day, but it's worth it if your goal is to chase as many waterfalls as possible.
