The Hainich National Park is located in the center of Germany, between the town of Eisenach and the spa town of Bad Langensalza. This place is not for nothing called the jungle in the heart of Germany, this mixed forest is dominated by beech thickets. In the most remote areas of Hainich, no traces of civilization can be seen.

The most important attraction of the park is the millennial oak, which bears the name "Beggar's Oak". A legend is associated with this name, it says that in the hollow of an old tree people once left alms for wandering monks. Over time, the hollow became open-ended and quite voluminous. There is also a “treetop path”, which is 44 meters above the ground. Also, the park administration has developed many excursions.
