Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve (with Map & Photos)

The canyon is within the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve, in Mpumalanga province, almost on the border of Mozambique and Swaziland. The Blyde River has also shaped the rock formations in a very curious way. At the confluence of the Treur and Blyde rivers there are a series of vortices or erosions in a spiral shape that resemble natural pools. Easily accessible via paved roads from the small village of Graskop.
