At 77 km from Warangal (India), in village Palampet is Ramappa Temple, also known as the Kakatiya Rudreshwara temple, constructed according to the inscription in the temple in 1213 g of. n. e. during the reign of King Kakatiya - Ganapati Deva. It is the only temple in India named after the sculptor Ramappa, who built it, according to the chronicles, in 40 years.
