Pelisor Castle (Castelul Pelișor) is a charming, small castle located in the Peles Park of the Prahova Valley. Built between 1899 and 1902, according to the projects of the Czech architect Karen Liman and decorated by the Viennese artist Bernhardt Ludwig, the castle is, from 1903, the summer residence of Crown Princes Ferdinand and Maria.

Of the ninety-nine tastefully furnished and decorated rooms, the Golden Bedroom, The Gold Room, The Office of King Ferdinand and The Office of Queen Mary stand out.

The hall of honor, refined for its simplicity, is clad in oak wood. Also remarkable is the stained glass area, an architectural element typical of the art of the 1900s.
