Port Campbell National Park |
The park was previously an area of approximately 700 hectares and was founded in 1964 to protect limestone formations. After about 20 years, its area was more than doubled. The limestone that forms the rocks in this area is more than 26 million years old, then everything was under water. Then, under the influence of temperature, humidity, wind and waves, this natural landmark gradually grew here.

Getting to the attraction is not easy. There are no direct routes, only rent a car or hire a transfer (quite expensive). You can use the routes with transfers: the cheapest are train and bus. By train from SouthernCross station we move to Geelong, then by bus to TregeaSt.
Twelve Apostles, Port Campbell National Park |
Port Campbell is a national park located 190 km southwest of Melbourne. The peculiarity of this national park lies in its coastline. Along the entire coast, for hundreds of kilometers, bizarrely shaped rocky islands in the form of pillars, wedges, grottoes, chimneys and arches are scattered. But the most picturesque place in the national park is the place called the Twelve Apostles.
