Colca Canyon (Cañón del Colca) - located in the south of Peru, 160 km northwest of Arequipa and is considered one of the deepest in the world. Its maximum depth is 4160 meters, and the length is more than 100 km.

It was previously believed that the depth of the Colca Canyon is 3269 meters, but during the 2005 expedition more accurate measurements were made and now, after clarifying all the data, its depth is 4160 m on the north side and 3600 meters on the south.
