This beach is one of the most photographed in the country, and the one next to it is often a candidate for the title of "most beautiful beach in Hawaii." However, it is not easy to get to it; it is quite secluded, which has earned it its place name.
Ideal setting for weddings
Secret Cove Beach is also known as Makena Cove, and it is a small and very cozy beach. The scenery of rock formations and palm trees that surround it create an almost unbeatable environment. This great beauty is what has made it the "wedding beach" of Hawaii, reaching three to four weddings a day during the summer. Of course, if what you like is swimming, it is not highly recommended, since the seabed of the shore is full of rocks.

Next to a huge beach
Secret Cove Beach is located on the south coast of Maui and to get there you have to follow the Makena Alanui Road. The beach is next to another larger one, known as Big Beach (big beach) and has more than a kilometer and a half of white sand. The one that appears in the photos is Little Beach, which is next to it and is the real “secret beach”; To get to it, you have to go around the cape to the north of the big beach and follow the small path that starts at that point. If you want to get there by road, you will have to follow the route that goes from Wailea to Makena and pass the last entrance to Big Beach. You will find a stone wall with a sign indicating the way.
