The place is wonderful and despite the strong wind, it is a pleasure to walk through it. Pointe de Pen-Hir is the center of the Crozon Peninsula and is made up of 70 meter high cliffs. The best known of the place are the three isolated rocks located below the cliff, known as Tas de Pois, which in past times were attached to the cliff. Guarding the site is the Croix de Pen Hir, a huge cross that pays homage to the Bretons who fought in World War 2.
