Fantastic tunnels and a huge dome
The Kawachi Fuji Wisteria Garden is located in the hills south of Kitakyushu City. It is here that two 100-meter tunnels of lilac and white wisteria bloom. A visit to Kawachi Fuji-en is possible only twice a year - during spring flowering and in autumn, when the maples light up scarlet.

How to get there
The garden can be reached by train and then by bus or car.
The bus leaves from Yahata Station (15 minutes), but from the nearest stop it's an hour's walk, so it's more convenient to take a car.

Flower fairy tale
In the center of the park there are two tunnels and a large dome of climbing wisterias of different varieties and shades: from dark purple to blue and white.
And from the observation deck offers a magical view of the “sea of petals” and bamboo groves in the valley.

When to come
The garden has become very popular in recent years, and since the wisteria bloom season coincides with the festive Golden Week, it draws huge crowds. At peak times (from the end of April to the end of the Golden Week), you will have to buy a ticket in advance for a specific date and time.
