The park is named after its highest peak - Triglav (2,864m) and covers 4% of the total area of Slovenia, including the eastern Julian Alps. The exceptional beauty and untouched nature attracts many visitors every year who want to see and experience the depth of nature. Lake Bohinjoffers only one attraction in the park. Other, also beautiful lakes, are found throughout the park, along with slops, rivers, streams, gorges and mountains.
