Castle Hill Beach in Massachusetts is one of the most popular beaches in the entire area. The white sands of Castle Hill Beach stretch for miles, making this beach one of the most picturesque in New England. Surfing is one of the most practiced sports in this part of the country, and this beach in particular was not going to be less.

It is ideal for surfing along its entire route, although you have to be careful in some areas, as there can be very strong currents. Despite being so popular, people often complain that the water is too cold, and that is why many take this beach as a place to come to relax and, above all, sunbathe and meet with friends and family.
Apart from the temperature of the water and sometimes a strong wind, the Castle Hill beach is quite calm and clean, and if we visit it from one end to the other, we can see how there is an abundance of mussels and clams, and of course seagulls.

Fishing and harvesting of these molluscs is allowed, so we have another way to entertain ourselves while we walk and enjoy the day and the ocean. Along the beach, we have car parks to leave the car if we have rented one, although it is paid and many believe it is too expensive.
There are various services such as toilets, showers, lifeguards and bars, which are well maintained and in good condition. There is also a store where we can buy food, drinks and other products.

Apart from the clean water and well-groomed white sand, there are even small “islands” where we can swim, if the water is not too cold for us. As usual, on weekdays there are usually much fewer people, while on weekends we can find quite a few more people along the beach.
In any case, and given the length of the Castle Hill beach, there is usually space for everyone without inconvenience. However, one of the problems that we can find in the area depending on the season in which we go, are the annoying mosquitoes, so it is worth taking an insect repellent.
