Fisher Island is a very exclusive, private residential community and is considered a vacation spot for the more affluent. It is a well-known tourist destination, right next to Miami, Florida. Many of the beaches on Fisher Island are private to residents in exclusive areas, but a good portion of Fisher Beach is public. Precisely this part of the beach is where most of the influx of regular tourism is received, and where we can find a greater atmosphere and movement.

Although it has been commented that it is a beach area normally visited by wealthy people, much of the tourism that visits the island is middle class, and the public area offers us a wide variety of places to eat and dine, and shops at a reasonable price, although if our budget is not too loose, it may be a good idea to visit this beach, taking what we need already prepared.
There are several places to look for activities and fun, such as the Fisher Island club, often called "The Big Club", on the eastern tip of the island. In this exclusive club, we have some of the best golf courses in the United States according to several specialized magazines.
Four tennis courts, a beach club, and a beachfront members' area for gatherings are also available. There are two dining rooms that can hold 250 people each. There are also apartments for rent if we want to spend our stay in this place.

There is another club on the western part of Fisher Island called Hay Harbor, although somewhat smaller than the previous one. It also has golf courses and tennis courts, although one of the most curious elements is a saltwater pool called the salty tank. Lessons are given in swimming, tennis, golf, windsurfing and sailing.
It so happens that this place is also a yacht club. With the magnificent winds around the island, sailing is a popular pastime for vacationers. There are a few more clubs on the island, which also offer many interesting activities and offers.
