The fishing village of Reine was named the most beautiful village in all of Norway in the 1970s by the Norwegian magazine Allers. The image of the settlement was repeatedly used on the cover of tourist brochures and guidebooks. The tiny village, covering an area of 0.29 square kilometers, is located under the mountains around the fjord. The sea crashing against the coastal cliffs, colorful fishermen's houses on stilts, picturesque sunrises and sunsets attract thousands of visitors every year.

The small town of Svolvær is one of the best whale watching spots in the world. However, it is famous not only for its nature, but also for its history. Despite the harsh climate, people settled in these parts as early as 800 BC: the abundance of fish made it possible not only to feed the family, but also to successfully develop trade. And here more than 900 years ago, the first Christian church in Northern Norway was erected.
