Bradenton is located in Florida and is an area surrounded by miles of rivers and canals, both fresh and salt water. Along the blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico and into Tampa Bay, there are more than 15 kilometers of beaches, some of them sheltered with a good number of Australian pines.

All of these sites are close together and can be seen in one stop, offering a good look at Florida history, a good show, and the chance to see some unusual marine life.

Bradenton has some islands off its coast where you can also pay a visit and see some interesting things. One of them is the island of Ana María, where there is a park located to the north and where there is a wonderful and quiet beach from where you can see the entire Tampa Bay. Both Bradenton and Ana Maria Island cater to vacationers and tourists who come to visit to enjoy the beaches. On some of the beaches there is a real hobby of collecting shells, which is another hobby in Bradenton.
One of the things that we can not miss is the skyway to the north and it is about 4 kilometers long and rises about 76 meters from the ground. This bridge links St. Petersburg and Clearwater (Aguas Claras) and it is really an experience to go through it. At the mouth of Tampa Bay we have Egmont Island, where the ancient remains of a fort from the war between the United States and Spain are located.

Here we have a sandy beach that stretches for almost two kilometers which can only be accessed by boat. There are excursions planned and boats are rented to visit the island. This variety of beaches that can be found in Bradenton, give us a good opportunity to enjoy this part of the Florida coast.
Another activity that has become quite popular in Bradenton is simply sitting in the city's harbor and fishing. Next to the port there is a cafeteria where apart from eating and drinking something, you can also buy bait. From the port there are also excursions available to go deep sea fishing.
In the city limits there are a number of parks, including beach areas where you can have picnics and where public toilets are available. In Bradenton beach there are all kinds of services and places to settle, where we have bars, restaurants and apartments for rent. We also have some shops to do some shopping.
