It may not be the biggest, but Assembly Row is one of the best outlets in Boston. It is the closest to the city center as well as being in a nice area (near the Mystic River) that you can easily reach by public transport. There are a large number of fashion stores in the outlet including Saks, Levi's, Nike, Sephora makeup store, Ann Taylor, as well as the Warby Parker eyewear brand. Right in front is its Marketplace section with more stores, highlighting TJMaxx and Burlington, two good places to buy cheap clothes.
Assembly Row Somerville Massachusetts |
But in addition to being an excellent place to go shopping, it is also an excellent place to have fun, since there are several entertainment venues for the whole family. One of the most important is LegoLand Discovery Center, it is a center for games and attractions that include a 4D movie, a mini city made of Lego blocks, virtual reality experiences, simulators, and even an academy to make large constructions with blocks. Also on Assembly Row are movie theaters and bowling alleys.
Also the restaurant options are quite good in this outlet. If you like cuts of meat you can go to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse or Outback, if you prefer Mexican food you can go to Sabroso TaquerÃa and for dessert we recommend an ice cream at JP Licks.
