Very close to the San Francisco pier is the Embarcadero Center, a small shopping area. There are several national brand stores here such as Banana Republic, Sephora, and LOFT, as well as some local shops. There are plenty of dining options here, whether it's Asian food at Kirimachi Ramen, Osha Thai, or Stone, pizza at Gochees, or American food at The Patriot House.

One of its big draws is Amazon's revolutionary physical store known as Amazon Go. It is a store with food and desserts where you only take what you like and it will be charged directly to your Amazon account without you having to go through the box. If you fancy an ice cream or a cookie we recommend Over The Moon, one of the best ice cream parlors in the area with a large number of flavors. You can also go to the movies at the Embarcadero Center and during the December season an ice rink is put on its facilities.
