One of the most famous places to go shopping in Detroit is Somerset Collection. It opened more than 50 years ago with only the Saks store but little by little more and more stores were added making it one of the best malls in Detroit. This large shopping center is divided into two buildings connected by a bridge. The original building has two floors and its anchor stores are the luxury department stores Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. While the second building has three floors, it was inaugurated in 1996, and here you can find Macy's and Nordstrom.
