A shopping facility dubbed a lifestyle center, The Paddock Shops is located in Louisville, Kentucky's east end. It was once known as The Summit of Louisville. Boston-based CPT Capital Management presently owns it, while Chicago-based Fairbourne Properties is in charge of managing it. At the time of its debut in 2001 until May 2013, it was operated by Birmingham, Alabama-based Bayer Properties under the ownership of a Prudential subsidiary.

With a central parking area surrounded by businesses with a Mediterranean motif, it contains 40 acres (160,000 m2) of land and 367,500 square feet (34,140 m2) of retail space. The main access point is located on Kentucky Highway 22.
