Gold Harbour is located in the southeast of the subantarctic island, of South Georgia. The name of the natural harbour has nothing to do with a valuable precious metal; rather, the Gold Harbour surprises the invaluable richness of the animal world and nature. Visitors will find a unique composition of glaciers, mountains, rivers, the ocean, and swaying animal bodies.
Gold Harbour South Georgia |

But other types of penguins can be found in Gold Harbour, and the beaches are densely populated by huge elephant seals, especially during the mating season.
