Nearly a mile south of Washington Pass on the North Cascades Highway, Liberty Bell Mountain may be found in the North Cascades in the U.S. state of Washington. The Liberty Bell Group, which also consists of Concord Tower, Lexington Tower, North Early Winters Spire, and South Early Winters Spire, is made up of several spires. Liberty Bell is the group's northernmost spire.

All climbers traveling on Highway 20 pause to drool as Liberty Bell Mountain keeps watch above Washington Pass. The East Face comes first, with its challenging climbs up high huge walls. The next faces are the South and West, which have easy ascents in the 5.6 to 5.9 range, making them ideal for peak baggers. Finally, there is the thankfully brief approach—especially for a climb in the Cascades. You could end up behind another group on the wall because it is so well-liked by climbers in the summer. The Liberty Crack is included in the list of "The 50 Classic Climbs of North America" along with climbs like the West Buttress of Denali, the North Ridge of Mount Stuart, and the Nose of El Capitan.
