This is a must-stop for all those who go to the city of Portland, Maine. Not only is the lighthouse worth visiting but also its surroundings. The Portland Head Light is located within a natural area called Fort Williams Park.

During our visit, we saw that it was a perfect place to spend the day. While some bathed on the beach, others practiced sports or enjoyed a picnic in the open air. We preferred to follow a short hike along the coast, where the views were unbeatable.
