Simon Property Group is the landlord of Sunrise, Florida's Sawgrass Mills, a shopping center. It is the largest mall in Broward County, the second largest mall in Florida and the Miami metropolitan area after the Aventura Mall, and the third largest mall in the Southeast United States with 2,370,610 square feet (220,237 m2) of retail selling space. It is also the largest single-story outlet mall in the United States and the largest mall in Broward County.

Sawgrass Mills, an alligator-shaped shopping center close to FLA Live Arena, was the third mall built by the now-defunct Mills Corporation (now a division of Simon Property Group), and it first opened its doors in 1990. There are name-brand discounters and more than 329 retail establishments. The anchor retailers include Burlington Coat Factory, Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx, BrandsMart USA, Super Target, Marshalls, Last Call by Neiman Marcus, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Q Store California.
