Tenorio is one of the most beautiful volcanoes in Costa Rica, located near Lake Arenal and Liberia, the crater of which is located at an altitude of 1916 meters. It is known for the fact that two rivers flow down from the volcano and together a chemical reaction occurs, forming water of an unrealistic blue color, which continues to move along the Celeste River. Also on the route, there is a beautiful waterfall, where swimming is prohibited. Until 2019, it was only possible to get to the entrance to the Tenorio National Park by jeep, the road was terrible, but in 2019 the government laid asphalt and now all tourists can enjoy the beauty of the rivers.
