With Sears, JCPenney, Selber Brothers, and Dillard's shops as anchors, Broadway Square Mall debuted in 1975. The mall's design has undergone various revisions since it was first built. Both the Selber Brothers stores in Broadway Square and Longview Mall were acquired by Dillard's in 1987, and both were turned into auxiliary stores. Later, the previous Selber Brothers store was shuttered and transformed into an Old Navy location.
