History
On October 27, 1999, JCPenney, Robinsons-May, and Sears were among the three department shops that comprised Promenade Temecula. In 2002, Macy's and a brand-new shopping concourse debuted. Macy's and the other businesses took up space on the south side of the 766,500-square-foot (71,210 m2) mall that was initially designated for an ice skating rink, which never materialized. The old Robinson-May property was purchased by Macy's in 2008, and on June 14 it opened as a Macy's Men's, Children's, and Home shop. The original site was converted into a Macy's Women's shop.

A variety of changes in 2009 contributed to the Promenade's transformation. The Shops on Promenade Drive, which include establishments like White House Black Market, Apple, P.F. Chang's, LOFT, MAC, Chico's, Soma Intimates, Sleep Number, Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar, Coach, Yard House, Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, The Walking Company, and Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que, was added between the Edwards Theatres and Macy's. The mall's newest component was formally inaugurated on March 26, 2009.
Seritage Growth Properties acquired 235 of Sears Holdings' properties in 2015, including the Sears at Promenade Temecula.
It was revealed on November 7, 2019, that Sears will be shutting this site as part of a statewide plan to shutter 96 shops. In February 2020, the business closed. Round One Entertainment is now located on the first floor. Dick's Sporting Goods relocated to the second story of the former Sears building and opened its doors in April 2022.
