In the United States, Rocky Mount, North Carolina has a shopping center called Golden East Crossing. The mall, which opened in 1986, houses Ross Dress for Less, Belk, Books-A-Million, Conn's, Dunham's Sports, and J. C. Penney. Hendon Properties is in charge of managing it.

J. C. Penney, Roses, and Belk served as Golden East Crossing's first anchor retailers. In the fall of 1987, Sears also established their shop. Cadillac Fairview created the mall.
