Ischigualasto is one of the most remote national parks in Argentina. The nearest large city of San Juan is located 273 km from the park, so you can visit it by taking a specialized tour of northwestern Argentina. You can also take an organized trip from San Juan by contacting local travel agencies, or drive on your own with a rental car (from San Juan, Route 40 leads here, from which you need to turn east onto Route 150).

At the entrance to the park, there is a campsite where you can spend the night if you have your own tent. Within a radius of 40-50 km, you can also find places to stay overnight in small roadside hotels.
